Mission
Climate protection and economic development
The target of the European Union is to meet at least 12% of primary energy consumption from renewable sources by 2010.
More than 40 percent of the total end-energy consumption in Europe is used in the building sector – the most promising field for implementing solar thermal energy.
Therefore within this sector there is a high potential concerning environmental protection, establishment of new jobs and development of the local and regional economy.
Large-scale solar thermal installations are economical and ready for the market.
Due to this enormous potential this technology has to be introduced into the property market more emphatically.
